OOTD: FALL(ING) INTO SPRING

The Hungarian Brunette Falling into Spring OOTD

Hey guys! Today I wanted to share this outfit that’s the epitome of my new obsession: Fall colours for Spring. Let me backtrack a little: I feel like comes September, when Pumpkin Spice Latte Season is beating full force, all everyone wears is burnt orange, khaki and beige. I’m guilty of that too, don’t get me wrong. (I actually wore that sweater on the blog back in the Fall - you can see it right here) But this year, I asked myself “what if I actually wore these shades for Spring?”.

As Miranda Priestly would say - GROUNDBREAKING. Actually, she might say it without the sarcasm this time, considering that her actual line is “Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking” and I feel like this is actually the total opposite of florals for Spring. If you haven’t seen The Devil Wears Prada, I’m sorry, you might be very confused right now… But also you need to see it because it’s only the best fashion movie of all times.

Back to real life, the weather in LA has recently started to get a little warmer, and it does feel kinda like Spring. BUT the rain and clouds are making damn sure we don’t get too excited about Summer right away. Hence why I’m probably really feeling the muted, burnt orange and khakis right now.

And if you’re thinking OMG, this is so off-season… That’s your prerogative, but I would like to point out that fashion is all about breaking the “rules” and having fun. And yes, I put the word “rules” in quotation marks, because to me, there are no rules to fashion. Just wear what makes you feel good, confident, and have fun. Period.

Also, I feel like I HAVE to point out that Bentley’s outfit matches mine? And I swear, it was totally accidental. Once I noticed though, I couldn’t resist having him in the pictures, because a) I love a good twinning moment, and b) he’s just so damn cute.

As usual, I linked all the pieces you’ll need to recreate a similar look below, but if you’d like to get your dog this exact Air Force inspired one-piece outfit, you can get it right here on Amazon, for about $10 (and it’s also available in red and blue). For reference, Bentley weighs 6 pounds and he wears an XS, that fits him perfectly. It’s also super warm and so soft inside. And don’t worry, I’m not about to become a dog fashion blogger (lol) but I get asked so many times where to get that outfit when he wears it, that I thought I would mention it.

Do you guys like this outfit? What are your thoughts on wearing non-traditional Spring colours for Spring? Let me know!

Love you guys,

Jenny xx
