BLUE-THEMED GLITTERS, CRYSTALS + GOLD GEOMETRICAL ACCENTS NAIL ART

The Hungarian Brunette Blue glitter, sparkles, crystal, gold geometric and stars nail art (8 of 8).jpg

Happy Monday guys! Today, I thought I’d start out the week on a good note by bringing you one of my favourite nail arts I’ve worn in a LONG time! I’ve gotten so many compliments on these nails, so obviously I had to share them on here, although let’s be real, I would have shared them anyways, ha!

I sometimes like to keep it simple when it comes to my nails, and some of my go-to’s are white, light pink (which I don’t post about because it’s a little boring) and sometimes an all holographic glitter nail, that’s a little more over the top but still goes with everything.

But sometimes, I’ll be in a mood to go all out and have some fun with a crazier manicure, like I did here. I’m completely obsessed with these nails, especially because they’re all different, and although it might be too much for some, I find that to be way more interesting than 5 nails that look exactly the same.

So without further ado, I thought I would tell you guys how I did each one of these nails, including what I used and how I did them. Note that I used the same base coat and top coat for all my nails, so I won’t be repeating them every time. For a base coat, I recommend the Essie All-In-One 3 Way Glaze, and for top coats, I always use the Essie Gel Couture Platinum Grade Finish top coat.

The Thumb

What I used:

What I did:

First, I applied 2 coats of my dark blue nail polish, letting them dry carefully before the next step.

I then took my holographic glittery nail polish, dabbed the excess on the opening of the bottle, and carefully stippled it sporadically, all over the nail, for a galaxy effect.

Once everything was dry, I applied a few star stickers in different sizes to finish it off.

The Index

What I used:

What I did:

I started off with 2 coats of the Cyber nail polish, letting them dry carefully before moving on.

I then applied one thin coat of Silverlake all over the nail.

I finished off by applying one line sticker starting at the nail bed, and covered the top end with the 2 gems.

The Middle Finger

What I used:

What I did:

This is by far the simplest nail of them all. I simply put down 2 coats of Essie Find Me An Oasis, let them dry and topped it off with one coat of Urban Outfitters Glow Up.

The ring Finger

What I used:

  • Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored nail polish in Sally (sold out, but Essie Dressed To The Nineties is a perfect dupe - and it’s also a third of the price!!)

  • Nail gems in a bunch of different shapes and colours

What I did:

I simply applied 2 coats of my dark blue nail polish, let them dry completely and then applied one thick coat of top coat. While the top coat was still wet (you need to proceed quickly) I lightly pressed my nail gems in it and let it all dry. I highly suggest picking out the gems beforehand and deciding on the placement before laying down the top coat, just so you can do it all quickly, before the top coat dries out.

The Pinky

What I used:

What I did:

I started off with 2 coats of the Cyber nail polish, letting them dry carefully before moving on.

I then applied one thin coat of Silverlake all over the nail.

I finished off by applying one triangle sticker starting at the top of the nail and a round gem at the bottom of the nail.
