The Hungarian Brunette - My favourite rompers of the season all under $100

I’ve been pretty vocal in the past about wanting to try out trends that are out of my comfort zone, like midi dresses and midi skirts. Well today, I’m back at it again… With a floral romper. I’m usually not a big fan of rompers, because I feel like they’re not super flattering on the bum. You see, I usually wear mini dresses and skirts, because they really highlight my long, slim legs and if I wear shorts, they’re usually denim cutoff shorts. Actually, scratch that. They’re always denim shorts.

So rompers weren’t really on my mind, until I was browsing my friend’s online shop, Très Vu, and saw this floral romper with amazing sleeves. I thought it looked so romantic and ethereal, and it reminded me of something a nymph would wear (don’t ask, lol). I just really loved the way the sleeves are attached to the romper but aren’t crowding the arm pit area, which is what makes it really annoying to wear sleeves in the Summer, unless you enjoy being a sweaty mess.

I also loved that the top is smocked, because otherwise, finding am off-the-shoulder top that doesn’t slide down on my tiny frame is downright impossible. And the best part of it all? It’s super affordable! There are still a few left, which you can get RIGHT HERE.

I paired mine with my current favourite bag, also from Très Vu - But currently sold-out. But don’t despair, I have a full post dedicated to super similar bags and shoes that match, which you can check out right here. Since the romper is quite busy with the print, I wanted to keep it simple in the jewelry department, so I simply added a few dainty necklaces, all from Forever 21. For my tips on how to layer necklaces and plenty of similar options, check out my post on layered necklaces, all under $10!

Because I know not all of you will be able to get this romper (and because it might not be everyone’s style) I decided to give you guys more options for beautiful rompers, and I found these 35 picks that are all very different styles, but all gorgeous. Keep scrolling for all the deets.

So as you can probably see already, I grouped them by category. First, we have 4 super feminine eyelet rompers, that I really wanted to include in there because white eyelet is one of my favourite fabrics for summer. Then, I moved on to some more androgynous utilitarian styles, that I thought would be suer practical for more casual activities like running errands, or to travel to a foreign city where you need to walk so much during the day.

Then I included a bunch of super simple, solid coloured options that would serve as the perfect canvas for beautiful accessories. And let’s face it, they all look super summery and festive! I then finished off with a ton of super feminine options (my favourite), in either a gingham print (which I think is going to be SUPER trendy this Summer) and some floral prints that reminded me of my romper, although they’re all in different cuts and styles. I just feel like florals are so adorable in the Summer.

Are you guys fans of these rompers? Which one is your favourite? I hope you enjoyed these picks and are inspired, and I would love to know if there’s anything else you would like to see in terms of outfits, so let me know in the comment section below!

Love you guys,

Jenny xx
