As I was brainstorming on some content ideas last week, I realized that I had never done a full review on these products, and I knew I had to dive in immediately, because I’ve been using these for SO LONG! I don’t know how they slipped through the cracks, and to be honest it’s not like I’ve never talked about them. You can see them featured in my post about my skincare routine and my shower routine, amongst others… But I had never done a dedicated review, and I feel like it’s long overdue. So here we go, let’s get started, shall we?

The Truth Serum

There’s no better way to say it: THIS IS THE SH*T! The first time I tried it on (from a sample) Sasha came home and said “Wow, what did you do to your face? Your skin looks so great!”. Now in my book, if a straight man that uses shampoo to wash his hair, face (and sometimes body) notices a difference in my skin, it means it’s working. The next day, I was ordering the full-size from Sephora’s website… And I haven’t looked back since, because I’m on my 4th bottle right now.

I use this on my face (almost) every morning and I notice that it really gives me a major glow. When I “wear” this serum, I feel like I look more awake, healthier and just like I’m glowing from within. It has vitamin C, but also collagen, orange and green tea extracts, and aloe. So not only does this give you the most radiant glow, it also makes your skin supple and super hydrated. I’m honestly obsessed with this serum. So obsessed in fact that after using it, I bought the entire collection, because I knew it was just going to be great.

The Banana Bright Eye Creme

After a few months of using the Truth Serum, Sephora had a Holiday set that included at full-size of the serum and trial sizes of both the Banana Bright Eye Creme and the C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme (see below) for the price of the serum. Obviously it was a no-brainer, so I purchased that instead of my regular bottle of Truth Serum.

And the first time I used it, I automatically fell in love with the Banana Bright Eye Creme, so I also purchased the full-size (which you’re seeing in the pictures). I have to admit, the first time I received my order and saw this tiny jar of eye cream, I freaked out a little. I told myself “Wow, did I really just pend $38 on this minuscule jar of cream?!”. But now I know it was all worth it and honestly, once I’m done with it, I will repurchase.

A very little goes a long way, especially since it’s a morning cream, and I don’t want to apply so much eye cream in the morning that it makes the area super slippery and soggy (if that makes any sense?). Just the tiniest dollop makes the biggest difference, and when I use it, I really notice how my eyes look more awake, open and rested.

You can use it with or without foundation. Under a full face of makeup, I personally find the effect to be a little less noticeable… But when I go for a more natural look (hello, summer?) it definitely makes a world of difference. So if you’re the kind of girl that wants to go for a more natural look, but you’re afraid of looking like a ghost… This will be your best friend.

The texture is also great and absorbs quickly, leaving a non-greasy finish with just the right amount of glow.

THE C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme

This is the product from the collection that I’ve used the least, but it’s not because it’s not good. I actually love it, but I have oily skin that can tend to look very oily instead of dewy if I’m not careful. So this is a little trickier for me. This moisturizer is super hydrating and definitely gives a beautiful glow, but it’s something I usually don’t like to wear under makeup. When I wear moisturizer under foundation, it’s usually always my Glamglow Volcasmic, because it’s a matte glow moisturizer.

That being said, I LOVE wearing the C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme on its own, on days when I don’t wear makeup. It just gives my skin this all-over glow from within effect, and it gives my skin just the perfect amount of dewiness. Once again, a little goes a long way, and if your skin is on the drier side and in need for some glow, this will most likely become your must beloved possession. Oh, also, it smells AMAZING. And this is coming from a girl who doesn’t like orange-y smells… But there’s just something about this one that makes it work.

The Face The Truth Gel Cleanser

This product is not pictured, simply because I completely forgot to include it like an idiot. Not that it’s an excuse, but all my creams and serums are in their designated “skincare” shelf, while my cleansers are other in the shower or by my sink, so when I grabbed the other products, I just forgot this one.. Sad times. That being said, this is the cleanser I always use in the morning. At night, I prefer something that helps with acne (get the full breakdown in my skincare routine post) but in the AM, this is THE one I like.

I've always doubted the ability for a cleanser alone to really change your skin, so I won’t go ahead and say that this makes the biggest impact I’ve ever seen, but paired with the other products from the same collection, I just feel like it works really well. This cleanser is definitely super gentle and not drying at all.

If I notice one main difference between this cleanser and the other ones I’ve used, it’s that this one leaves my skin feeling nourished as opposed to stripped down… Like it feels like I’m adding to it, as opposed to taking away from it. But don’t me wrong, this feeling doesn’t mean my skin doesn’t feel squeaky clean after using it.

It has that same yummy citrusy smell the other products have, and I find that this helps me feeling awake in the morning. It’s just a great way to start the day, and I feel like it lays the perfect foundation to layer on the Truth Serum, Banana Bright Eye Creme and the C-Rush moisturizer.

On a side note, I also really loved their Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser and the only reason I don’t use it anymore is because it has salicylic acid in it, which I can’t use with Curology.

That’s it for today guys! I hope you enjoyed this review and found it helpful if you were considering purchasing one of these products… Or if you just ended up here looking for products that would give your skin a gorgeous glow. And I’m telling you, if that’s what you’re looking for, look no further. I’ve been using these for the longest time, and I usually very rarely repurchase beauty products. So that’s a hell of a testament to these ones.

In the same collection, they also have cleansing wipes, which I don’t use only because I don’t really like wipes. But if YOU do, then I’m sure they’re great, especially if they’re as amazing as the rest of the collection. As for cleanser, they also have a foaming version of the gel one I mentioned above, so check this one out if a foam texture is more up your alley.

The latest addition to this product line (and I believe their first makeup product as well) is the Banana Bright Face Primer, which isn’t included in this review for the simple reason that I just received it a few days ago and haven’t had the chance to try it out yet… But it will have its own dedicated review once I figure out if I like it. Which, if you’ve read this entire thing, you know I most likely will.

Do you guys use any of these products? If you do, please tell me which one(s) and share your thoughts on them right below! Also, if there’s anything you guys would want to see on here, please let me know. I love writing posts that are requests from you guys!!

Love you,

Jenny xx
