OOTD: A BOHO VIBES THANKSGIVING OUTFIT

The Hungarian Brunette OOTD boho vibes thanksgiving outfit

Well, it’s official, Thanksgiving has creeped up on us. I know the year isn’t over yet, but I feel like it went by SO FAST!! With the end of the year approaching, I can’t help but think about everything that’s happened in 2018 and what I’m grateful for… The whole ordeal! I don’t wanna go too much into this because obviously there will be a post about that specifically. But let’s just say there was a lot of thinking going on lately.

What I wanted to share with you today (obviously) is this Thanksgiving outfit. I feel like it’s perfect for the occasion because it’s warm and cozy, it shows some leg and even some cleavage, but is still super appropriate in front of your boyfriend’s grandma. It’s also comfortable, because let’s face it, the last thing you wanna be wearing for Thanksgiving is something super tight that’s really gonna let everyone know just how many servings of turkey + potatoes + gravy you’ve had (lol).

Trust me, I’m ALL about loving your body the way it is, but let’s just say Thanksgiving food coma is NOT the most flattering thing, so I don’t mind getting a little helps camouflaging it with this super cozy sweater, ha!

I’ve also been really into kids’ clothes lately, as you know if you’ve read my streetwear-inspired OOTD post. This outfit is no exception, because that super cute faux suede skirt is actually from the kids’ department at Forever 21. (It’s also linked below, along with a few adult options!). I know wearing kids’ clothes might sound crazy for some, but I swear it’s not that far out! The one I’m wearing is actually a size 9/10, but it also comes in sizes 11/12 and 13/14. I usually wear size 0, so there’s so I will go ahead and assume that kids’ 13/14 is somewhat like a size 4. Although don’t quote me on that… The best is always to try things on and see how they fit, because even the same size might vary from brand to brand.

But enough on kids’ sizing. Back to the outfit. Another thing I love about this outfit, aside from how much turkey you can eat, is how soft it is. The skirt is, once again, faux suede. And it’s so soft and cozy, you’ll never wanna take it off. Add to that a cozy, plushy sweater, and it’s basically like spending Thanksgiving in your pyjamas. Except WAY cuter.

Since this specific sweater is from last year, it’s sold out now, but I linked some similar options as well as this exact skirt (and 2 adult-sized options) for you guys right below.

I can’t wait to see what all of you wear for Thanksgiving on Instagram! I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all of you an amazing Thanksgiving day with your family. Be safe, be happy, be thankful.

Love, Jenny xx
