Hey guys, Happy Wednesday!

Happy Beauty Wednesday, actually! This week, I'm introducing a new concept for Beauty Wednesday. Every other week, I'll test out 3 samples of products that I haven't tried before, and share my initial thoughts with you guys! The other weeks are gonna be the usual tried and true products I've been using many times over and highly recommend. Fun, right? Let me know what you think, I'm curious to see if you like this concept!

This week, I tested the Kevyn Aucoin Etherealist Super Natural Concealer, the Glamglow Waterburst moisturizer and The Sephora Brand 10hr Wear Perfection Foundation. Here are my first impressions:

Glamglow Waterburst

I've been a Glamglow fan forever, so I was really exited to try this one out. At first, the blue gel-like moisturizer is really thick. But when you apply it to your skin, it melts down to an almost water-like texture... Which means it feels really light on the skin. It also absorbs quite quickly, but it leaves the skin a tiny bit sticky at first, so it's something I would use more at night then in the morning, when I'm in a rush to get out.

For the first test, I did apply it maybe half an hour before putting on makeup, after washing my face, and it gave me a nice, dewy glow I really liked. Since I tend to have an oilier skin, a dewy glow can turn into a disaster real fucking quick... Hence why I would rather use it at night.

One other thing worth mentioning is the smell. Once more, Glamglow strikes again with a product that smells heavenly... Seriously, you just wanna slather it on your whole body it smells so good.

All in all, I loved that the texture is light and absorbs quickly, and my skin felt really hydrated for hours after putting it on. Definitely a must if you have dry skin or live in a dry climate. It's definitely something I would bring with me on a desert trip or happily put on after a day at the beach in Venice.

Would I buy the full size product? Yes, definitely!(Find it here)

Sephora 10hr Wear Perfection Foundation

I was a little skeptical at first, because to me, the Sephora brand always felt like the "cheap" brand at Sephora. Well, let me say, I'm really reconsidering now.

I'm lucky that the sample I got was actually really close t my skin tone, so I only had to add in a little bit of the light one to the medium one, creating the perfect hue for me. Bonus points to the brand for sending a sample that actually has 3 shades, so you can really see what it looks like in the right colour for you.

Coverage-wise, it's MUCH more opaque than what I'm used to. But I don't hate it. I actually quite liked it. It's perfect for when you need a little coverage, and on days when your skin is on point, you can mix in a little moisturizer for a custom CC cream. Love it!

Since it's so covering, you also need VERY little, which I'm a huge fan of. I hate the feeling of wearing a foundation mask and it's actually one of my biggest beauty pet peeves.

The texture of this foundation is also right between too runny and too thick, which means it stays in place where you need it, but it's also really easy to apply. For the purpose of this sample test, I used my hands only, and it went on perfectly.

I applied it over the Glamglow Waterburst moisturizer, with no primer, and it stayed beautiful for hours. While I didn't wear it for a full 10 hours, I couldn't exactly put that promise to the test... But seeing how well it held up right after moisturizer, with no primer, for a few hours, I have no doubt it's actually accurate.

All in all, I was really happily surprised by this foundation, especially considering that it's only 20$.

Would I buy the full size product? Yes, but I would test it a few more times, just to make sure it doesn't make me break out. (Find it here)

Kevin Aucoin Etherealist Super Natural Concealer

Just like the Sephora foundation, you only need a really tiny bit of this product to get the benefits. The coverage is a total full-on coverage, which you could expect from a concealer. I didn't really have any blemishes when I tested it (yay!) but I applied it under my eyes, and HOLY SHIT did I look WOKE! Like, litteraly and figuratively.

The shade I tested was maybe a tiny bit too light for me, so the effect was a little... theatrical, to say the least. That being said, it went on really smoothly and really made me look awake and bright-eyed, which I loved. I never had huge dramatic dark circles, but even then I could tell it made a difference. I'm a fan!

Even though I only applied it to the under eye section of my face, I can tell it would really do an amazing job at covering blemishes and other imperfections.

I really loved the way it looked, for about 2 hours. And then, it started to really crease, making me look like a scary mummy. I don't know if it's because I put too much, because I didn't use a primer or because it's just the way it is, but that's kind of a deal breaker to me, unfortunately. I say unfortunately, because other than that, I really loved it.

Would I buy the full size product? Only if I was looking to uniquely cover pimples and scars, but not for under my eyes (Find it here)
