This week, for Beauty Wednesday, I'm back with week 3 of Sample Testing. The 3 samples I tested this week are Ole Henriksen Truth Serum, the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and the Gloss Moderne Clean Luxury Shampoo & Conditioner.

I was super excited about all 3 products, so this week was a good week! Without further ado, let's dive right in!

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum

I'm a big fan of Ole Henriksen. I absolutely adore their Oil Control cleanser and love their Cold Plunge mask too. So I was really excited to try a product from another one of their lines. And boy, did the Truth Serum not disappoint!

Since I only had enough for one application in the sample, I wasn't expecting to rate the results. I thought I would base my review on texture and absorption, but it would take more than once to actually see some results. Well, I'm thrilled to report that I was wrong.

Immediately after applying the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum, I could already see some results. Over the day, the results I saw at first only intensified. I swear, that stuff is MAGICAL. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be: BRIGHT. After only one use, my skin was clearly brighter, and radiant-looking. Like I was glowing from within.

My skin was also super soft and dewy, without being oily. For someone with oily skin, this is a great feat, especially because this is not an oil-control product. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum just really agreed with my skin. Reading the reviews, I saw that most results appear after 8 weeks of use. So if I base myself on only one use, I need this in my life. It's that good!

Would I buy the full size product? It's already in my Sephora cart. YES YES YES! (Find it HERE)

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

I was pretty pumped for this one, because I've been on the lookout for a good concealer for a while. I tested another concealer that everyone raved about on the first week of Sample Testing, and it really didn't work for me. So let's just say my expectations weren't too high on this one, but I was still hopeful.

The sample I got had 4 shades in the medium-dark to dark range. When I have a good tan going, I guess I could describe my skin as medium. But medium-dark seemed like a stretch to me, especially because it's June and I'm far from having a deep tan right now.

I tried the shade Biscuit (medium-dark 1) and to my surprise, it actually matched my skin tone pretty closely. Since I like a lit-up look, I would probably buy it one or two shades lighter, but it still gave me a really good idea.

And here's the thing: When I test a product, I like to really push it, to see how it behaves in the worst circumstances possible. See it as a high-endurance test, if you will. So I applied it under my eyes, right after washing my face, with no primer, no foundation, no nothing.

My biggest pet peeves about concealer is when it creases or look chalky. I feel like these 2 characteristics really make it or break it, as they make you look SO MUCH OLDER. And that's something no one wants, am I right?

Well, this concealer does non of those things. First of all, the formula is covering enough to really make any dark circles disappear... Without looking like Mrs. Doubtfire with a face full of icing. It doesn't crease or look cakey/chalky. And all of that with no primer or foundation.

So I can only assume that this concealer would be the perfect ally on a summer weekend day, when I just want a little help without putting on a full face of makeup.

Would I buy the full size product? Yes, it's the best concealer I've tried so far! (Find it HERE)

Gloss Moderne Clean Luxury Shampoo & Conditioner

I had really high hopes for this shampoo, because I've been really trying to amp up my hair routine lately. Also, this shampoo + conditioner duo is 84$, so I was really expecting some magic for that price. In all honesty, for me to drop more than 20$ on a shampoo, it has to be pretty fucking amazing.

This one is good, but it really didn't deliver the expected results. The promised results are to make hair much softer and shinier. My hair definitely feels soft, but not so much shiny. It doesn't look limp or heavy or greasy, it actually looks pretty damn clean and fresh.

The reason I'm disappointed with it is because I didn't really see any significant difference between this and the L'Oréal shampoo I buy for 6$. It's not a bad shampoo, don't get me wrong. It's actually pretty decent and smells really good. But to me, it's just not worth the crazy price tag.

Would I buy the full size product? Not unless I win the lottery. (Find it HERE)
